Small pellets are the best.I fished the 17th and 18th on the tidal Trent and had 45 barbel. 5 of them doubles with plenty of 9 pounders to back them up.
44 came to small pellets and just 1 to bolies.But it can depend on what the fish want on any paticular day because i have also had days when bolies have out fished everything else. If i could only use 1 bait it would be pellets.
