Couldn't agree more, think i have only used the 2lb top section twice and that was in very heavy flood water on the trent! have had some great fun battling double figure barbel on the 1.5lb tops!! As saud though they are not the lightest of rods but they do spend most of the time sat in the rests.

I use Shimano Aero 5000 RE Baitrunners with my and find them a good combination for the whiskered specimens of our rivers. Hoping to put them both to test again this time off whilst doing a few sessions on the middle trent.
