hi lads. i was talking to stockport councill this morning. and they have secured the land for the dams to be built. the first one will be built at otterspool next spring...if successfull p/mill weir will be next.. the only thing i couldent find out is how mutch of the weirs are going to be taken..?? billy


Following our telephone conversation, the main contact for anglers interests in relation to the schemes has been Tony Bielderman from the Stockport & District Anglers Federation. I understand that a couple of his colleagues from the Federation have also been involved in some of the discussions to maintain and improve anglers access to the riverbank at Otterspool when the hydro scheme is in place.
