Default Association of Barbel Fishers
Are there any other ABF members on here? I joined a few months ago and have found some of members to be a full of helpful advice. The articles and rig tips are worth the joining fee alone which is as little as £1.

Hi colleydr

I would be interested in hearing how you define "going in the right direction" please?

I have just joined.
However It won't stop me joining the Barbel Society too; as from what I have read it looks like they will both have similar strengths and aims.

Perhaps they could organise a few joint evenings and projects every now and then???

Hi Keith

You never know.
I would be interested to hear though,if they are going in a different direction to existing groups as indicated by colleydr, what that is!

Hi Fred,
I don't think he meant anything in particular, just a turn of phrase I suspect, but I too will be interested in what he meant by "going in the right direction" if anything.

I'm sure he didn't Keith.

It's just curiosity, if another barbel organisation has perceived fresh ideas/direction, it would be good to hear what they are.

I've found the ABF to be friendly and helpful bunch with some good ideas, the 'away days' and teach-ins to name just 2.

Why not join and take a look for yourself? Membership costs as little as £1.

Cheers

I already get that with the Barbel Society, so my £1 is already spent.
