Well All,
I've been targeting the Pike so far this month due to the rivers being so low and only had a couple of trips out after Barbel with no luck what so ever but the Pike well that's a different story as I've been doing rather well in fact very well culminating with my second ever biggest Pike and for a few seconds when my legs turned to jelly when she surfaced and I caught a glimse of the width across her back and her length I'm thinking my holy grail re a 30lb pike but at 27lb 5oz and my 32nd pike in 5 sessions I'm not complaining for one minute and it makes it all the sweeter that she is a none Trout water fish, its a shame that the photo's dont really do her justice as I caught late afaternoon and by the time I had calmed down and sorted myself out the light was going on me and I was more concerned with her welfare so a couple of quick pics and with a flick of her huge tail nearly drowning me in the proccess she was away back to the depths of her secret lair. Oh Happy Day's
