I once caught a flounder in the Shropshire Union Canal during a match. Caused a few raised eyebrows, and rapid rule consultations. I was, I admit quite surprised, but I guess it came up through the locks from the River Dee.

Love to catch a lamprey, but I suspect I might let it keep the hook!
