Do you mean the new(ish) footbridge? You sure those are not grayling Billy? There is often a small shoal of rising grayling, mostly 4-8 ounces, near that bridge.
As you say it is very inaccessible, I was thinking of hang gliding down off the bridge..but good sense has prevailed and so I am off today to buy the parachute.

Default goyt today
Managed a session on the goyt at otterspool today on the fly finished with 3 small trout and 1 Small grayling-- lost a few flys but getting back into the casting now -- but just my luck i might have to go back to work after an 8 month lay off with an injured arm.
on a sour note there was evidence that someone had been course fishing over the last few days
On Sunday I had a ride around pear mill then along river on upto marple some good looking pegs but all seem a long walk

Barrie

Kev hope your soon out and about mate

I had a nice walk on the goyt on some farm land near Romiley / Marple. The river looks stunning round there for fly fishing.

I was with a family member and he said that he's seen people fishing last week and that somebody camped over the weekend and spoke of catching 4 barbel and 5 trout.

Its up to you but I will be calling the EA.

If I see kids fishing I dont mind that much but just inform them that the EA are about and if they get gripped they will be in the shite. But blokes doing weekenders is an other matter.
