There is a bredbury card but its it over 10 years old and this year see the introduction of a new card.

If you goto rolands you might still get given the old card and still get bredbury AC stamped on your fed.

This new card will have info on the other stretch of the goyt that wasn't shown in the old card, as this stretch was kept for matches and people that attended the meetings and work parties.

Update, looks like you have to goto a meeting to be able to join Bredbury AC

The next meeting is on the 27th June 8pm at The Rat Pit Bredbury.

The joining fee is £30, this includes the FED card.

The new cards are at Rolands for people that have been to the meetings.

went today, and you do have to attend a meeting to join. Unfortunatley for me to attend a meeting means bringing a 9,6 and 1 year old so thats me ruled out. Cheers to all for the info anyways

long time hows things? if you join the stockport waltonians its £50 inc joining fee and fed card,you dont have to attend meetings you can join at the secrtaies house and he'll give you fed card there and then,let me know if yoiu want his number ok mate.

Yes you can now but you have to goto a meeting to get a membership card.

Thats set in stone, over half of last years members have still not been to a meeting so they wont be fishing any bredbury AC waters unless they goto the meeting on the 28th june or any other meeting.

If its impossible for you to goto a club meeting you'll need a Bredbury AC member to hand in your membership request to the club.

The letter of request must have the full name of the member handing your letter in and state why you can not attend a club meeting and also have your full name, address and telephone.

If your application is accepted you'll be able to pay and pick your card up from Rolands pet shop.

The horse shoe shape pond was ment to be bredbury AC but the farmer cocked it up and the club never took it on.

Theres, roach, perch, chub, rudd, carp, tench and others in the pond.

You can see the weir in the map link, this is the clubs and all the river next to the field.

Parking is next to the pond
