Hi all a quick question for anyone ?, i do alot of pike fishing up at coombs reservoir near buxton , i have heard that there are pike in the tame could anyone give me a clue as to where i can find them and if they have had any and what size.

i'm a piker too mate, very few of them in the tame to be honest i wouldnt bother fishing for them and thats not trying to put you off because i know something that i dont want to share its coz i dont think they're worth it at the moment,there have been small jacks in the past but i've not heard of any big girls in there.
are you a member of any clubs?

Hi kev no im not a member of any clubs at the minute but i used to be, unfortunatly i am on incapacity at the minute so dont have alot of money to spend on clubs.
I only live in brinnington so its a 10 minute walk for me to the river and i have fished most of it upto denton under the motorway bridge.
I fish at coombs when i can get a lift off my mates when they go , i have my pb off there 14.1 lb my mate had a 20lb off there.

same as mate,you can fish lymm damm for a fiver a day (£2.50 per exra rod upto 4 allowed) they go to high 20's in there,and theres cats and eels in there to, oh and carp to 32lbs.hope this is useful for you.
