Default effects of climate change.....???
heard on the news earlier today that loads of people down south have been stung by weaver fish that have migrated to our shores due to the warmer seas round our coastline as a result of climate change it said.

so maybe in a few years we'll be out fishing for tarpon and tiger fish and sail fins and even tuna...........lol

ya never know huh.................

There have always been some weever fish around our shores though. Suspect we maybe have rather more this year due to the warm summer, rather than actual climate change, which tends to get the blame for everything.
Warm weather also promotes more bathers of course, the more feet in the water the more chance one will stand on a fish.

It would be nice to see such fish return. I remember seeing a few TV programmes on the subject way back when, except that they were always referred to as "tunny", and the fishing was in the North Sea. I assume they were fished for commercially and wiped out by that and the reduction in their prey fish.
