ive just been and bought myself a fly fishing kit, now the rod is fine, looks good feels good has a nice action but the reel has come already loaded but its loaded with the line coming off the top, now back winding doesnt feel right to me, it feels odd, is this how the line has to be loaded or can it be put on the normal way so we can reel in forward?, i know theres not a lot of reeling in to be done but when its neccessary i at least want to be comfortable doing it.

this is gonna sound like im thick but do you mean the real because then i have to hold the rod with my left hand and reel with my right and that feels even weirder lol
i,m just gonna strip all the line off it and put it back on the PROPER way, i,ll have a flyfishing lesson when your free lol Wink

welcome to the tree,shrub,bush,banksside vegitation and hook everything bar a fish club jerry lol,its a blast,did your kit come with safety goggles? EEK!

if your reel has a line guard then theres only 1 way to load it mate.
