Default Decent stillwaters
Hi guys
I could do with some good suggestions on local stillwaters as I can't decide where to go in the morning ? I'm thinking of going to turners pool, but am not sure yet.
I want to fish with one carp rod and on the feeder and see what happens so any suggestions would be great.
Thanks in advance

is compstall still open or do they have a closed season ? used to be a good water in cold conditions, coombs used to be good for the bream and has a few carp in it and some big pike, used to be free but dunno now, id probably plump for a canal untill the bigger fish in the stillwaters wake up, especially the tench. have a look at king william website they have some good waters if you dont mind fishing in salford, all cheap day tickets.

top golly pond in heaton park is fantastic and now free as the owning club has given it up, good for roach and others, a bit of a hike but well worth it, I'm going to have a look at a water on Friday , lock in with some large fish of all species and very quiet and reasonably priced season ticket hopefully my holy grail, but after many disappointments not getting my hopes to hi.
