Just been down to otterspool and it's still the same, no sign of any activity and more bank erosion.

Would have thought the EA might have took action by blocking the flow through the site.

2 work men on site just stood around looking at the river and throwing stones in today. I think they will need to hire a craine to block the flow of the river now.

Got a feeling that Stockport council do not want to talk to me regarding the findings at the Settle Hydro.

Just had interesting phone call regarding stockport hydro plans.

I told them about issues with settle and new mills hydro sites.

They don't no anything about Settle Hydro or New Mills Hydro problems and that planning permission was greanted 2 years ago, so no requests for changes can be made.

I said that they are allowing the installation of a hydro plant with many design flaws as proven with the running of New Mills and Settle Hydro sites.

They said yes, as plans submitted were deemed satisfactory by all parties at the time of application.
