I'm new to the site and was just looking for a little info.
Myself and my Brother usually take our two boys (13 & 11) for a two night session at Walton on Thames every 4 or 5 weeks, but the fishing is a bit erratic lately to say the least, so we fancied trying somewhere new. However it is difficult to find somewhere to put up 4 bivvies next to each other (as we can't have the kids apart from us at night). Would anyone know if you can night fish with Bivvies around Ludlow. From Google Earth The Breadwalk looks to have quite steep banks, although The Bridge by Dinham does not look too bad.
Also what could the boys expect to catch as the usually just use swimfeeders for anything that comes along on the Thames.
We were thinking about going in late October. Is the area safe at night?
Sorry for the long post but we live in Surrey and it's a long way to go for a wasted journey.
hi Carl1967. welcome to the forum, theres loads of lads on here that will no doubt give you some information on where you want to go, and about the kind fishing you want to do, billy.
Thanks for the response Billy. Just to re-assure any Teme anglers, we are members of the Thames Anglers Conservancy, so we respect where we fish, we take all litter with us (which on the Thames often means more than we came with) and leave the swim as we found it.
