Default Hi all!!! Colne buddy wanted!!
Hi all!
My name is Mark and i currently live in Dorset but am moving back to west London in a month or so, i have been barbel nuts for about 5 years now and usually fish Throop (dorset stour) or the royalty (hampshire avon) as well as holidays on the severn (hampton loade) but am moving back to london after being in Dorset for the last 9 years and was wondering if any people on this site fish the river colne around uxbridge, denham west drayton etc. my biggest barbel is 12lb 10oz (Dorset stour throop). i love my fishing & love the social side of it too!!!! i have had some of the best experiences of my life on the river, the highs, the lows, the side splitting times with my mates on the bank.Anyway i'm blabbing on good luck to all for the new season and please feel free to leave a message especially if you fish the colne!!!
Regards
Marco.

Hi Mark, I fished the colne through Denham on the Uxbridge Rovers ticket a few of times last year and had a couple of barbel and some chub. I have just renewed my membership and was planning on fishing it alot more this season, with fish to over 17lbs now there's a chance of a real monster!
I'd be glad to meet up for a session if you like, I've learnt a bit about the river but am looking forward to fishing and learning alot more this season.

Let me know

Jez.

You too mate, good luck on your private stretch!

I forgot to say that I used to live in southampton and fish Throop and the Royalty on the Ringwood ticket, infact I got my PB of 12lbs from New Weir.

I'm kicking off my season on the soar tomorrow night, can't wait!

Let me know when you around and we'll try and winkle out a barbel or two.

Default Hi fellow Colnesters
Hi fellow Colnesters,

I'm also a River Colne regular and am in the same club as you Jezza.

Still learning the ropes as have just recently ended a break from fishing which started in the late 1970's.

Currently enjoying some beginners luck as I had my very 1st barbel this week.
A 2' fish weighing about 8lbs from the Colne at Ricky.

I live just up the road from the Ricky aquadrome and would welcome any Colne news or meeting up with any of you for a catching (or blanking) session.

Steve.
