Hi, just joined but have been fishing for 50 years but still learning! I am switching from game angling to course fishing as I think it poses more of a challenge at least for me.
I had never caught a Barbel and decided I would do something about that this year - so bought a ticket for Vauhall angling and went out for my first ever Barbel trip on Wenesday with limited expectations - lady luck was on my side and I caught two my PB at 9.6 lds followed by one at 7. Probably won't catch anymore but who cares!
