Default Hello All
Just thought I would say hello as a newbie to this site.
Have been fishing for Barbel for about 38 years now. Have a PB of 15lb 8oz's.
Nearly always fish the Old Mill, if anyone else goes there they may remember me ( I always use little bells on the tips of my rods). Can't tell you how many times they have got me out of trouble lol ( having a widdle, making a cup of Tea etc ).
I live in Watford now but come from Notting Dale ( Notting Hill ).
I am also a member of Watford Piscators which is just down the road from me and is very handy if I can't get to my beloved Kennet.

Hi Jimmy and welcome from another new member.
I'm ex Watford and now near Ricky.
How's the Piscators doing these days? I heard they've lost Rousebarn.
You mention the Old Mill, is that the one near Aldermaston?

watcha fish&chips, the Piscators are doing fine, they have worked very hard down there, all the swims are now woodchipped, they have built a very nice little brick toilet block . some nice fish coming out.
yes they have lost Rousebarn but no loss to me( could never settle there ).

The Old Mill Aldermaston yes correct. had my PB ther in March 15lb 8oz's.
