Hi all,
My name is Adrian, I live in Guildford and 30 yrs young and have been fishing for about 20years. In the early yrs float fishing on the rivers with my pops.... not that he had any interest I just nagged him to death to take me . Moving on to carp,pike and even fluff chucking for trout in later yrs.

After many years of sitting behind buzzers on carp lakes now feel like a new challenge of catching my first barbel in more of a Bernard Venables style of roaming the river banks keeping mobile.

I will do some searches on here, hopefully to find out some info before I cast a line for my first Barbel.... would be so chuffed to catch a "Barbellet" if thats what you pro's call a littleun? (ive prob just made a new word ha ha)
