A bit short notice i know but would anybody be interested in meeting up at pearmill tomorrow for a clean up
it appears the poachers have been very busy and left the place in a **** tip







i had nothing with me today to move anything, to be honest i wasnt expecting that, i,ve moved about 15 people off in the last few days, it looks like they or someone else have come back at night
the high presence of poaches has been reported to the EA so i just hope they do something

I saw lads fishing, 3 of them and I called the EA from my mobile and will be calling the council tomorrow as I think they should be picking up the rubbish.

I will be going down next Sat around 5ish to see if anymore are on

i,m going again tomorrow, i,ll have a clear up of some rubbish but i dont know what to do about all the fire damaged wood

I think the best bet for the half burn't wood is to just scatter it in the trees as thats where its come from.

I got the women at the EA to provide a direct land line for mobiles to call.

I would also like to see a reward offered for informing on poaches that leads to a successful prosecution by the EA.

By poachers do you mean those eastern Europeans who eat the fish? Or were they just kids?

3 lads about 17 - 19 years old.

I walked it again on Sat afternoon and saw a family fishing with kids with crapy float rods.

I didnt call the EA this time but did tell them that the EA are about.

by poachers i mean anyone fishing on the river without valid membership whether that be a 15yr old or a 50yr old or an off duty policeman like today.
its simple no membership no fishing and as its the close season no fishing unless you are doing so within club rules or ea byelaws
