Well, we saw what happened when they met Germany. Played off the park by a 'proper' team! Useless bunch of prima donnas.

that has to be some of the worst football england have played since, well when graham taylor was the team manager, just a big farce over frank lampards goal, otherwise, i feel they would've come back second half & battered the germans.

still there is always the next world cup & the prospects of getting some passionate players in the near future!, if only...

Can't see it happeneing myself bud. That is the most frightening thing about all this. Who is goihg to follow the so called Golden Generation. I think England will be in the doldrums for a long time after this latest humiliation. The fact that Lampards' goal was disallowed should not deflect from the truth that they were simply not good enough.

no i agree, but it only added to more dispair, oh well looking on the bright side, at least england won the one day cricket & the international coarse fishing championships.
