I'd imagine that there are more than a few rubbing their hands at the prospect of the Rivers rising. Plenty more is needed if they're indeed to rise. Last nights pitiful showers have made little if no difference whatsoever...

Had it since monday here in Nottingham, it's well needed though, it's also abit gusty at the moment.

First chance in a long time(well it feels that way) shall be out on the Trent tomorrow.

Default cold fish
with the rain coming and water levels start to rise and the water temp drops a few degrees.how mutch of an impact does it have on fish feeding.?? all i caught yesterday were small fish.thay were willing to feed but not the bigger fish. or was it just a coinsidence..??

But surely you don't always catch the bigger fish, even under ideal conditions Billy?

As for your question...its another of those that requires someone far more knowledgeable than I am to answer. Too many factors: colour, river speed and level, rsing or falling, temperature, cloud cover....
