I believe it is also quite expensive to go on there these days. Something like £12.00 per night for a small tent, becoming more expensive the bigger the tent is. You also have to pay for your car as well as yourself. I suppose you might say this is quite reasonable, I actually think it's expensive, but couple the expense with the noise/nuisance factor and the fact that the fishing can be very patchy, and it is probably not so appealing. A friend of mine has given me a contact for the White Lion, which is in Ross On Wye. Never been there myself but I am thinking I might just give it a try. yes it can be a bit rough and ready at the Unicorn but it much quieter midweek
