Unicorn inn at Hampton loade on the Severn is a good site. Right on the river and just up the road from Bridgenorth. Couple of decent tackle shops that will put uou on the right stretches to fish. Best of luck.

Default Hampton Loade
This site can be a bit noisy at times. Anyone can come on the site at any time. I was there recently and we had a bunch of , I'll call them youths, who came onsite at around 11.00 pm, pitched a tent and then proceeded to be a nuisance to all and sundry. Loud music, swilling beer, swearing loudly. Thankfully, they left quite early, probably to avoid paying their site fee. Not trying to put a damper on your visit, but it is something you need to be aware of. As for the fishing, it can be a bit patchy although there has been some good catches recorded. The main camping field site is controlled by Kinver Freeliners and tickets, at £5.00, can be bought from the pub. Above the camp field, it is controlled by Barbel Alley angling: Home - BARBEL ALLEY ANGLING HAMPTON LOADE. On the opposite bank, it is all BAA water and day tickets are £6.00. If you really want a good days fishing on the Severn, might I suggest that you try Eardington, just below Bridgnorth. I have had some really good days there. Hope this helps!

No probs Kev. Don't let me put you off your trip, but it has to be said, there are better places to be, and to fish, than Hampton Loade. Wherever you decide to go, I wish you tight lines and good times all round.

Used to camp at a place called Stamford bridge on the Teme. The bridge pub let you camp in the field op the pub and sold BAA tickets for the river. Not sure if it's the same now but worth a try. There was a little site just up the road from Ham bridge, also on the Teme. Had some good days on the Teme.

Default Stanford bridge
This is a very nice campsite and it is right on the river, which can be very productive, especially the area just upstream from the campsite. You also have places like Eardiston, Lindridge and Eastham Bridge all within a few miles. Not sure if they sell BAA day passes anymore, but they can be purchased from any tackle shop at £6.00 per day.
