Default day shelter recommendation
Hi all,

can anyone recommend a good (quick erect) day shelter, for a number of years ive been using a nash 1 man bivvy when i do overnighters but its seen better days , so it has now gone to the "great wheelie bin in the sky " but decided a decent day shelter is more for me (dont do many winter overnighters but have use of a good bivvy for when i do)

any suggestions willl be most welcome

cheers

chris

you will get lots of different opinions on this its down to personal preference but i prefere a brolly type shelter i use the nash profile plus. But i 99% of time do days only but i do days through the winter and find its goood keeps wind off me and rain works for me.

i hope i do get alot of different opinions , easier to see which products people are going for, so yours is added to my list to look at, i also mainly do just days but want one versatile enough for when i do get an overnighter in

depends on the size of the pegs you fish, if they a bit tight Ive gone for the diawa mission with ground sheet and over wrap, picked that up for £50 and a jrc spec brolly very similar to the stealth brolly , very spacious inside. both put up in minutes,

I've got a JRC Stealth brolly, and its great, up in seconds, although might be a bit tight on some river banks, but well worth a look at.

I have a Korum Stormshield brolly, just the job, used up in Scotland too for overnighters. No complaints.
