i have thrown it in the back of my car not impressed at all playing a fish last week and it locked up so i have got a pair of shimano 5000 rt,that will teach me should have bought them in the first place.

You'll be even less impressed when they lock up too! Add the price of a Korum KXI to the price of a 5000 RT - if you shop around would equal the price of a Shimano 4000 D Baitrunner - which would have been money well spent. Not having a dig Tuk, just pointing out to other forum users sometimes it's better to push the boat out for something that works than to pay 2 or 3 times for something that doesn't.

we will let you try the penn then as your mate tony said today why do we mess about why dont we just buy baby pits ,he does have a good point why do we need bait runners they never had them in the 80s

Tony, bless him, is a carper! We don't need Big Pits because we aren't fishing one! What we need is a solid, strong reel that has a silky smooth clutch, with enough cranking power to pull the plug out! Took delivery of two last friday.
