Just a short guide on how to claim a barbel river record.

1/ You must be photographed with the barbel

2/ 1, preferably 2 fishermen from the same fishing club or within the vicinity should stand as witness to the weighing of the barbel.

3/ Details must be recorded and kept to verify your claim, weight of barbel, name of river, witness names and numbers, date caught.

Tip: If your on a day ticket make a note of the telephone number of the shop or club where your bought your day ticket from.
