How much would a good warm bib and brace cost? Any suggestions?

I've used a Sundridge Igloo suit (bib & brace type) for about 6 years. It's got a few tears in the trousers now. Prior to that though 100% waterproof and very warm. Just a little on the bulky side, but not too much to be a problem.

I think to get a really good suit you're gonna be looking at anything from £150 to maybe £350.

Don't think these are available as "Igloo" any more Oaksey, but totally agree with you, these are the DB's, have had mine about 6 years too...quality warmth and waterproofing even now. Sundridge will have produced similar under another name I'm sure? Perfect Xmas to March winter kit!

If you have a go outdoors near you have a look at the prologic bib and brace mate i've just got the thurmo 4 jacket as i have a bib and brace already, but i tried the bib and brace on and they felt pretty snug and i cant fault my jacket yet apart from being to warm when mooching about with my dogs lol but i could just take the inner fleece out they have good reviews as well and at 99 quid for the set good value also.
Cheers Gilster

Default Sundridge
Got an all in one Sundridge suit 25yrs old (Polar or something), just small split in rear area. Sundridge 2 piece suit 6 years old still going strong. Threw a lightweight Ron Thompson away as fleece split & zip went on jacket.

Plus Sundridge sizes are generous & go big. Plenty of room for layers underneath.

I have the Korum two piece one. It is about 3 seasons old, I use it for Pike fishing & it works quite well. The trousers are beginning to split in places but the jacket is holding up well
