I am the same Jon, I have adapted it a little bit as no need to use it for carp fishing.

I am not the only one to use one, my fishing mate and a few of the others who fish the stretch i do have one. They are a little heavier than the trafford/korum etc, but alot sturdier.

I looked at a barbel one at Leslies and wasn't impressed at all.
