I use the korum 2 river rod pod, great bit of kit.
Just a bit dodgy on stones, you'll need to make sure the center support is held down to stop it tipping

river tripod
hi chris
I've used a two rod korum tripod for a few years now and wouldn't go barbel fishing without it. Folds down nice and compact and fits in my rod bag. No more nearly losing rods in the river when getting a take while nodding off in the chair LOL.
Regards
Paul

thanks guys,
that was unanimous so ive just went and bought the korum, looked at it in my garden and first impressions are its a quality bit of kit (just wondering if my dog will let me tie my mainline to it and scream off down the garden to test stability hah)

I use a fox horizon pod, which i bought second hand for £43, a great investment and solid as a rock.

Pfloyd - no worries on that score mate, i once lost a rod on the severn at ironbridge by forgetting to turn bait runner on, vowed never to make same mistake again

One thing to be wary of with the Korum. Don't over extend the telescopic buzzer arm. A good hard fast take and drop back can see a rod catapulted off rests/alarms.
