Default loss rod and reel
one of the mates was fishing around Newark dykes on saturday night and a fish took is rod he cant rember the make of the rod but the reel is a shimano baitrunner aero 5000re limited edition if anyone fines it could you let me know thanks ste

You just can't trust fish these dace. They perch on the bar, Bell's in their fins on a Saturday night and later anything left lying around gets taken. I blame the parents of course..and the sort of schools they swim in. Spare the rod and they get reel bad. I predict a bleak future. It's a ruddy shame.

P.S. What bait was he using? ;-)

I watched a pair of dykes in newark once i am sure his rod will have been used well

when i was a rear gunner on a milkfloat in N.I,i saw two dykes fighting over a rubber bullet once ! ...................

................ i'll get mi coat.........

i had the same happen to me on the wye last week, one minute rod was there, next minute cheereo. must have been a whale or something. wasnt best pleased. if anyone accidently catches a greys prodigy 2lb t/c rod give me a shout. not holding out much hope mind.

Lol I thought it was just my Brother who loses rods. Why not clutch set slack or baitrunner on?
