Probably been asked before but forgive me as im a newbie....Can anyone recommend any all singing all dancing books on Barbel/Barbel fishing. Any advice much appreciated as there are quite a few out there i want to make sure i make the right choices. Thanks in advance.

Hi Chris a book that really captures the spirit of bsrbel fishing is 'The Deepning Pool' by Chris Yates not really ahow to book but an excellant read. Can also second Saints sugestion.

Thoroughly enjoyed Tref West's book when I read it. Found much of what he had to say quite applicable to the smaller rivers I usually fish. Perhaps not quite so applicable if you're a Trent regular.
