Just a short message to thank everybody who attended last night.

Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.

We raised a few bob on the raffle which always helps.

Indeed, a good entertaining talk, which pleasingly did not venture into all sorts of ridiculous pseudo scientific claptrap. It remained common sensical and interesting thoughout. I am not sure just how much a roomful of barbel specialists would have actually learned about barbel fishing, especially as there was probably more in the talk about predatory species than barbel, but I am sure that no one fell asleep.
Well worth going, even at two quid a head ;-)

Good to finally meet up with Jdog too.
