But why would you want to fish several small pellets on a hair, why not just fish with one big or medium pellet?

because sometimes that will catch you extra fish.

A bunch, string or just one or two small pellets is a great hookbait, particularly in low clear conditions, and particularly if feeding small pellets- as most do when using pellet.

But do you really think you caught more fish as a result or would those fish were catchable on a single 10-12mm pellet. I am only really asking because I enjoy seeing your profile picture.

Are you sure, it just sounds like over complication to me?

I always glue pellets - I think it gives better presentation but each to their own obviously.

Also, on rivers with crayfish (such as the Colne) I glue two halves of a boilie together as it seems to prevent the crays from ripping it off quite as easily. I don't think that the fish are bothered by the glue smell to be honest... but welcome anyone else's insights.
