Jerry, You mention that you super glued your boiles.

I know many people have used glue with baits and rigs, I've often wondered if the glue would have any affect - either on the bait or introducing other smells to the water.

I realise that by the fact you do it, it works, but I can't help but wonder if the smell of plastics (i.e. fake baits, glue and even silicon (plumber type stuff for bathrooms)) is attractive to fish or not

This may seem like a self answered question I suppose but I've not used glue on rigs or baits so I haven't had any experience and simply don't know.

What are others thoughts?

Sorry about straying from the original post

matey,
I have used sbs before and there squid and octopus 16mm boiles are the biz they are made fresh to every order and well they have caught. the biofish paste is a chub magnet as well as being liked by carps as well so look out for there special offers which might still be about ie buy one get one free but remember that Des Taylor doesn't own it any more its a Hungarian company who brought it.

Hope this helps

Andy

SBS Baits are no better nor worse than any other baits on the market but have a price tag way more inflated than their competitors. I used to put that down to Des Taylor's greed but even that has changed, its now Hungarian owned.

I have yet to understand why anyone fanny's around super glueing pellets, if they aren't predrilled then the easiest thing to do is tie a bait band to the end of your hair. But if you are determined to glue them, bear in mind super glue is not toxic, though it glues skin together VERY well, as it was developed by the US army as a quick way of fixing up injured soldiers in Vietnam.

Good way of fishing several really small pellets on the hair, perhaps the only way?

But why would you want to fish several small pellets on a hair, why not just fish with one big or medium pellet?
