Default Waders Nylon or Neoprene
Guys, I'm after purchasing some waders for the summer months but not too sure whether to buy neoprene or nylon ones?? I've read on the forum that after a while you start cooking in neoprene ones..

thinking of these normal nylon ones:

Daiwa NEW Lightweight Fishing Chest Waders *Size 11* | eBay

or these neoprene ones

Neoprene Chest Waders - Dragon Carp Direct

don't want to be paying a any more than £40 but could streach a little more.

Anybody used either of these products?

Cheers

if its just for summer use only , stay well clear of neoprene

unless you can carry them to the peg , put them on and fish you will melt to the point of collapse

i have the nylon ones and they have been fine. bit cold tho but i wear 2 layers of cotton jogging bottoms underneath which sorts out the cold. no leaks and had them a year buy a size bigger for thick socks. i prefer them to neoprene as you can move about in them easier

Nylon breathable waders for summer, neoprene for winter. I also find stocking foot waders better as you can place studs in the wading shoes which makes sliding around on the bank less of a problem.

i have had nylons throughout the year. winter as well. if you want a pair for summer and a pair for winter you may as well buy a breathable gortex set. there are sets of breathable goretex bison waders on ebay for £70

Decathlon have some gray nylon breather waders for £45, plus you get a 2 year warranty on them.

You do not want to be wearing neoprene waders in the summer or even in warm sun light, you'll sweat like a fat bitch on a treadmill and they take days, weeks to dry out.

I never knew how much sweat can come out of your legs, it's just weird.

Yes, a very long time and if you don't do it properly its starts to smell.
