I know the frightening power of the Trent there,i was fishing there last year whilst it was in flood I set up right near the top of the bank 15-20 yards from watersedge completely by chance I woke up 1.30 am with the water 2yds away and my rods in the water I shxxxxxt myself not knowing what to grab first. A Message to all who fish rivers be extremely careful at all times a lack of concentration can end up so bad. my thoughts go out to both families very sad times. RIP
