A JRC folding chair with adjustable back or if I can get close to a peg with enough room, a TFG bedchair!
The JRC chair is great & portable

I pretty much always end up sat on my unhooking mat, the chair gets left in the motor.

I tend to carry a Korum lightweight chair. It's light enough for roving, and I bought a shoulder strap from Ebay for it. I've used the unhooking mat from time to time but found there's absolutely no point in getting a wet backside. Might as well be comfortable

I use a lightweight chair but my mate bought a green foam padded seat that looks like a toilet seat. It even has a lift up lid ( I mean back rest). Its really usefull on a small boat as well as its so light and not cumbersome.

I have an old JRC folding seat, and it does me. Don't find any of them that light, but it's a trade off between carrying a little extra weight and being comfortable for a session.

Cheers, Nick

I use a Korum light weight chair with the sholder strap, its great because it frees up a hand this depends on how long I want to stay in the swim. If the weather is nice and the floor is dry then I just use the good old backside, in some cases though an unhooking mat........
