Default Fox Bait Droppers
I recently purchased a LARGE Fox Bait Dropper of the internet, as the picture was deceiving in size when it arrived it was HUGE, you would of needed a crane to lift it once it was full with bait and had the 3oz weight attached to it. Anyway I sent this back for a refund which cost me another £3 p&p, this really p*@sed me off but that’s what happens when you buy of the internet. To cut a long moan short I contacted Fox and asked the for the dimension of the small and medium bait droppers so I would know more or less the size of them before I made a further purchase.

If anybody has looked at purchasing these and didn't know what the sizes where here are the dimensions:

Fox Bait dropper SMALL: basked size: 5cm wide and 7cm high
Fox Bait dropper MEDIUM: basked size: 7cm wide and 11cm high

Hope this helps others!

Yeah I've read that a few times on forums. People who use them do a bit of DIY on them first by tying a bit of line on the door then to the dropper so if the door does come off then you won't loose it, bad design by fox but a very usefull bit of kit.

I use the Seymo droppers and have done for several years. They can be a bit tricky to find but are well made and reliable.

Edit. Having said they are hard to find, I've just found some ...

Hi Rio,

Which size do you use, no doubt the large will be too large and is is worth buying a small one?
Cheers

I use the medium and large droppers as they suit the rivers that I tend to fish most i.e Severn and Trent. If I had to opt for one though it would be the medium as it is more manageable, the large one is great if you are droppering bait close in but takes some launching otherwise.

Am off out now fishing but will measure the droppers when I get back to give you a better idea of actual size.

I've had a medium Fox dropper for about 3 seasons now and just after I bought it I read about the doors coming off so tied mine on, however, it all the time I have had it the door has never become detached and I use a fair bit of hemp over a season. Just lucky I guess although better safe than sorry. also use the Dinesmores one. Fyi I estimate it is slightly larger than the small Fox.
