Default Harrison 'Ballista' rods?
Anybody familiar with the Harrison Ballista Barbel rod? I know Ballista blanks were used for Carp. There is a man trying to sell one on the "Preloved" website, it is a custom build with two top sections, one at 1.75lb & the other at 2lb test curve

I've seen the odd suggestion in the past that they did Ballista blanks lighter than the lowest (2.5lb) rated that you see listed today.
I'd either ring or email Harrisons for confirmation, if I were you.

I see this rod is listed for sale on here by a user called Grovsey in the classifieds, I think it is the same rod, anyway...

Default Balista
Iv'e had them in the past in 2 Ib test, they were custom built without marking's but i'd say they were a 2 Ib test curve rods, not twin tip, with a lovely through action, i couldn't get along with the long cork butt and sold them on ebay.

Ballistas are excellent fish playing blanks, you wont go far wrong, Lots of carpers still rave on the fish playing properties.
