Default Best Barbel Net?
Hi guys,
I need some help!! I have a Chris Brown Barbel net.Now i know that in a previous coment, i said that i would give it top marks.Have now found a major fault and it is if you are fishing a river flowing left to right and trying to land a fish, the twist grip unlocks. The net twists and turns in the flow then the handle exstends as if by majic,Now i like to do most of my Barbel fishing at night so you can see the picture chaos in my swim!!! This is where you guys come in.Chris has kindley offered a full refund so i am in the market for a new net so i hope you can help. I need advice on best net for fishing a small fast flowing river (Kennet) your views will be most welcome.

Mmm thats a good one, Ive got a korum 27" specimen spoon net, its got wide soft coated netting to let the flow through, got this just for the same problem but it still drags like a bin bag in the water but its better than my old one.

Bad thing is its fixed so it not good for roaming but I am a one peg one day man

i,d reccomend the middy 30 plus camo net 36inch, sits great in the water for resting fish and doesnt get pulled all over in the flow
tight lines

have a look in go "go outdoors". they do a great dinsmore "d" shaped green net for only 7 quid.
alloy frame so you can push through weed its a naice sized n deep net so you can easily land n rest fish in it. well worth a look.
