I've just had a load of ground elips pellet delivered and am looking to make some paste from it that I can wrap round my hookbait. Can anybody suggest a simple recipe. Thanks

not looking for anyone to give there secrets away. just want something simple that i can add things to and create one of my own.

just add a couple of eggs as a binder, for a really base mix.

Just mixed some up using duck eggs (all I could find) a few bits and pieces found in the kitchen cupboard. Girlfriends mums kitchen now smells like I've had a rotten fish curry. Might be in trouble again after waking half the street at 4am last week.

Eggs, Vecon (Google it) and Shrimp block/paste. Will give you a real potent paste.

If hes in trouble for smelling the house out , that will get him chucked out for sure , I used blechamin (chinese shrimp paste) (not sure about my spelling)and stunk the house out for 2 days and I can get away with boiling hemp lol

Thanks will give this a try in my own kitchen. Only stay at girlfriends mums house at weekend Cause it's closer to my favorite river. Used to use blechamin pellets for tench several years ago brilliant bait never knew what it was though. I'll have track down some powder.

3 Eggs, mix a tablespoon of vecon in to the eggs-this takes a bit of doing unless you gently warm the jar of vecon to it goes runny in warm water.
The shrimp paste or powder, tablespoon again, is now mixed with the egg again and then brought to a paste with the pellet powder.
This mix works well but does stink like ****.
It does not need to be mixed in the house!!!!
