Hello all, has anyone fished this stretch of the Severn? Any tips would be a great help.

hi mate fished behind collage about 7 years a go add barbel up to 8 pounds

used to camp at the pub and fish the warrington stretch but I dont know it very well.

There are a few Barbel spots on the pubs day ticket and there is some very good fishing a few miles further down that WAA used to have but it is now a syndicate water. Used to regularly get multiple catches best day was 32 fish to 8LBS. so I would guess that these fish will migrate upstream occasionally.

not fished it for a while but definitley worth a go.

hi martin, is that the stretch at bicton, or has the club still got that one? paul.
