No mate. I thought I would today. Nice weather water was dropping and slight colour. But the water was pretty cold. I fished the big slack water on the weir all morning on the feeder with maggot and had nothing in the afternoon I walked up to the golf course and trotted through the slow water in and out of the trees and still had nothing lol. Where could I try local for some chub. Not really fussed on the size. Are they throughout the tame and the goyt pm if you like. I'm getting a fed card this week from decathlon. I was speaking to a fisherman toady and he said there was a spillage 12 mths ago and it has knocked the fishing in the mersey. Don't know if its true. My problem is I don't know if I am doing it correctly or not. I fished slow water. To any snags I can find.I set up the feeder running and used a 12 inch hooklink. And trotting rig was a 6x4 stickfloat shirt button shotting to a 3lb hooklink and 18 hook.
Yeh sounds good mate. I'm only off saturday and sunday tho. I start back at work tomorrow after my xmas break if them days are any good to you.I think if sopmeone had a look at how I was doing it and said it was ok I would be more confident.what do you need for the tame(which card ) or is it free?
