Lightbulb Advice on casting with a centrepin reel
Hi all,

My missus kindly bought me a centre pin reel for Xmas. I absolutely love it, what a stunning reel.

However there is a big downside, I am really struggling with casting. Im OK getting the bait to where I want it close in, but anything further than 5 meters and I get in all sorts of bother (birds nests mainly).

If anybody has any tips I would love to hear them. On the more positive side I did manage to catch a 9lb Barbel yesterday, ending my season long blank!!!

Cheers, Litty
