Hi iley, you can buy a day ticket at the post office in ribchester and you can fish all along the river were it flows through the village,i think you can go a mile downstream as well..hope this helps paul.

Does any one know of other day ticket stretches on the Ribble ? had a walk yesterday in the freezing rain along the Elston stretch and although it looked easily accessible i know it belongs to 2 clubs with no day tickets .
Thanks

Hello mate there is a day ticket stretch Dewhurst House I think its £5 a day, havent fished it since last season but its a cracking stretch. You pay at the farm house and have about 1/2 mile to go at with plenty of barbel coming out on boilie and pellet
