I hope in years to come all you Otter lovers will be eating your words when they are firmly feeding on your chosen venues.
I also accept the fact the Otter will not be going away either and that we as anglers will have to accept them back in to the ecosystems, its just suh a shame that so many animals and fish will have to syffer for the sake of a pretty creature that is the face of clean rivers.

The otter in my chosen river was one of the strongholds of the creature and never went away or had any reintroduced and its widely regarded as the best barbel river in the country. Not an otter lover, just a nature lover.

I love nature and wouldnt hurt a fly, but I feel that the Otter is 100% put first before any other animal. Nature has thrived without it and yes some people say it will balance out, well it will eventually, but what will be left? imo a lot less than there is now as Otters dont just eat eels as someBodies let us believe.

quite a few of them in the severn saqw a big dead barbel around 11-12lb with chunks bitten out of it right near an otter home plus ive seen them diving around one of the best barbel holes on bewdley alot in the summer
