Hi - I have seen that Southport and District AA have got the rights for this season to the stretch of the Ribble upstream of their water at Church Deeps. Can anyone give any info on this please. I suppose i'm wanting to know whether it is worth investigating at the expense of spending time at Church Deeps. Any info gratefully received. Cheers

Hi Dave, I've been down there and accessed the very top of the Church Deeps section via the farm. You have to pay £1 to park on the bank and avoid THE steps!

Very hard to say, it's supposed to be similar fishing to the deeps but the pegs aren't as angler friendly. Everyone there was just being plagued with eels.
