Hi lads, does anyone know of any day ticket stretches of the dane. I used to be a member of bay malton and they have a few miles of the river, but it used to get really crowded at the weekends. I'm just looking for a stretch thats not as packed, any info would be great, thanks in advance paul...

Yes its in Middlewitch. If you come of the m6 and turn right towards Middlewich after a mile or so you will come to a big roundabout with a hotel and a pub on ( not sure what the pubs call) turn right at the roundabout, first right. Follow the road round and after a mile or so you go over a bridge (river dane). Straight after the bridge there is a house take the first right. There is parking on the left, gravel lay bay. Walk back to the bridge and on the right hand side of the road at the end of the bridge there is a sthy climb over that and you can fish the bank. the streach is about 2 mile long. Never had any Barble but plent of chub. If the bailiff comes he normally charged £10 on the bank or you can go to Daves of Middlewich Tackle shop and get a ticked half the prise.
