The Barbel Show 2012

though i'd share my fishing experiences fished it for the first time only a couple of months ago had 11 barbel to 7.14oz on corn,caster,maggot and my secret bread with garlic and anchovie paste,plus loads of chub few trout eels,bream,perch etc i know there is carp and pike in there and will have a crack at them somepoint

anyone with news about here please update as i will when i can

these two caught yesterday first was 7.14 oz second around 7 both gave a ferocious take and fight the second got snagged in a bush on the far bank didnt want to snapp the line as could see him tangled up so i stripped of un tangled him and put him in the net the water is upto my neck even though its low,plus i know its safe people swim here all the time glad i did as couldnt face seeing the barbel die

cheers glad i did plus i got a photo as a bonus,wouldnt of been right to leave it especially with the river low luckily it didnt happen in flood conditons

fished today had a 4lb barb over ten mins to get him in lol,beautiful fish
