Default Barbel rods
ive got some barbel rogue 1.75 from wychwood,anyone used these rods before and if so are they any good?

Very good for the price mate, I liked them so much I brought another recently now have three. They are not top end Barbel rods but they're fantastic for the money and I love them. If they catch Barbel and are comfortable to use I don't agree with splashing out hundreds, they're well worth the money mate!

Yep, i've got 2, but 2lb tc, I use them for carp aswell. very good for the price

it doesnt matter if rod costs £50 or £250..aslong as your happy and comfortable with it..thats all that matters..

I was looking at those as all the reports i found said it was an excellent rod for the money, but managed to lay my hands on a Korum 3G barbel for £40 so opted for that. Its 2lb t/c so i will double up as static carp rod when i go puddle chucking with my pole.

Default Fish inspection
Fish don't check out the rods label before taking the bait. Down to prsonal taste and finances and making sure veerything else balances with rod.
